About us

DBP Floorcare was founded by Daniel Poole. Initially Dan joined the GroutGleam franchise and set up GroutGleam West Wales in 2018. After a couple of years establishing the business and learning more about the hardfloor's he was working on, it became apparent that there was a need for a more dedicated service for the deep cleaning, polishing, restoration and long term protection of beautiful looking stone & wood floors.

After spending many months researching stone and wood surfaces coupled with hands on professional training with the country's leading experts in both stone & wood restoration, the business diversified & became DBP Floorcare

Frequently Asked Questions

What does hard floor restoration involve?

Our hard floor restoration services can involve cleaning, sanding, polishing and refinishing hard flooring surfaces such as hardwood, tile, stone, or vinyl. We can help restore the original beauty and functionality of your floors, removing scratches, stains, and wear, and giving them a fresh look.

What is the process of you hardfloor restoration?

There will be variables depending on the type of floor, but typically, the restoration process involves:

Inspection and assessment: We evaluate the condition of your floors and determine the best course of action.

Deep cleaning or sanding: We remove dirt, grime, and old coatings.

Honing & polishing: For certain stone floors, we may hone the surface to smooth out imperfections. If requested, we can continue polishing to leave either a satin or gloss finish.

Finishing and sealing: We apply a protective finish / sealer to enhance the appearance and durability of your floors.

How long will my restored floors last?

With proper care and maintenance, your restored floors can last many years. We recommend regular cleaning and re-sealing as needed to keep your floors looking their best.

How much does floor restoration cost?

The cost can vary depending on factors such as the size of the area, the current condition of the floor, if there are any old seals to remove and the required finish.
